ABOUT CAITLIN

Caitlin is a December 2021 graduate of Carlow University, where she studied English and Liberal Studies, with minors in Women's & Gender Studies, Theatre, and Digital Storytelling. She enjoys writing about media, playing video games, and crafting in her free time.

 

She was most recently an intern on "The Power of the Voice and the Agency of Citizenship" exhibition project at Carlow University. She was the editor-in-chief for the Carlow Chronicle for the 2020-2021 academic year. She was also an editor and staff member of The Critical Point, the undergraduate art and literary journal at Carlow University.

 

Her writing was featured The Critical Point in 2020 and 2021. She has received The Critical Point Award in Critical Writing two years in a row, the 2020 Ellie Wymard Award in Creative Nonfiction for her piece, "Smoke-Filled Subaru," and 2nd place for the Marilyn P. Donnelly Award in Poetry for her poem, "Pittsburgh."

Caitlin hopes to become a writer or editor for online publications, but she is open to employment in related fields.
